The Laksa Project debuted in November 2017. The series aims to promote communal dining events centered around a variety of Malaysian noodle bowls collectively known as laksa. Events are held in intimate communal settings which encourage attendees to interact and exchange diverse cuisine experiences. Our mission is to introduce San Francisco to multicultural Malaysian flavors made from the heart, one bowl at a time. As of October 2018, The Laksa Project has surpassed its 1000-bowl goal and touched over 1030 people in SF with hearty bowls of laksa.
