The Laksa Project ran from November 2017 through October 2018. The series aimed to promote communal dining events centered around a variety of Malaysian noodle bowls collectively known as laksa. Events were held in intimate communal settings which encouraged attendees to interact and exchange diverse cuisine experiences. The mission was to introduce San Francisco to multicultural Malaysian flavors made from the heart, one bowl at a time. As of late October 2018, The Laksa Project had surpassed its 1000-bowl goal and touched over 1030 people in San Francisco with hearty bowls of laksa.
